New Jersey Film Critics Circle (NJFCC) Awards: ‘One Battle After,’ ‘Frankenstein’ and More

One Battle After Another has won Best Picture from the first New Jersey Film Critics Circle (NJFCC) awards. The film also took home awards for Paul Thomas Anderson as Best Director and Adapted Screenplay, Best Ensemble and Best Editing.
Acting wins went to Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme) as Best Actor, Jessie Buckley (Hamnet) as Best Actress, Stellan Skarsgård (Sentimental Value) as Best Supporting Actor and Amy Madigan (Weapons) as Best Supporting Actress.
Sinners was a winner for Best Score and Original Screenplay. Frankenstein was a triple winner, taking costume design, production design and makeup. Eva Victor (Sorry, Baby) and Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another) continued their streak of breakthrough wins, for filmmaker and performance, respectively.
