Oklahoma Film Critics Circle (OFCC) Winners: ‘One Battle After Another’ Takes Top Awards

The Oklahoma Film Critics Circle (OFCC) has chosen Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another as the best film of 2025, also awarding Anderson Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. The film also took both Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor for Leonardo DiCaprio and Benicio Del Toro, respectively, as well as Best Ensemble.

Jessie Buckley (Hamnet) and Amy Madigan (Weapons) were the lead and supporting actress winners while Sinners found love in Original Screenplay and Score.

Best Director: Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another (runner-up: Ryan Coogler, Sinners)

Best Original Screenplay: Ryan Coogler, Sinners (runner-up: Ronald Bronstein and Josh Safdie, Marty Supreme)

Best Adapted Screenplay: Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another (runner-up: Chloé Zhao and Maggie O’Farrell, Hamnet)

Best Animated Film: KPop Demon Hunters (runner-up: Zootopia 2)

Best Documentary: The Perfect Neighbor (runner-up: Orwell: 2+2=5)

Best International Film: Sentimental Value (runner-up: It Was Just an Accident)

Best North American Indigenous Film: Seeds (runner-up: Remaining Native)

Best Ensemble: One Battle After Another (runner-up: Sinners)

Best Body of Work: Pedro Pascal for Materialists, Eddington, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps
(runner-up: Josh O’Connor for Wake Up Dead Man, The Mastermind, The History of Sound, and Rebuilding)

Best Performance by an Animal Actor: Indy, Good Boy

Best Cinematography: Autumn Durald Arkapaw, Sinners (runner-up: Michael Bauman, One Battle After Another)

Best Score: Ludwig Göransson, Sinners (runner-up: Jonny Greenwood, One Battle After Another)

Best Stunt Coordination: Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (runner-up: F1)

Best First Feature: Eva Victor, Sorry, Baby (runner-up: Charlie Polinger, The Plague)
