Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods led the 2020 Online Film Critics Society (OFCS) announced Tuesday with eight nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Delroy Lindo), Best Supporting Actor (Chadwick Boseman) and Best Director (Spike Lee).
Nomadland and Minari were next with six apiece, followed by Never Rarely Sometimes Always and Promising Young Woman. All were Best Picture-nominated along with First Cow, I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Soul, Sound of Metal and The Trial of the Chicago 7.
Best Director, save Lee, was female-led with Emerald Fennell, Chloé Zhao, Kelly Reichardt and Eliza Hittman in the lineup.
Technical, Special and Lifetime Achievement awards will be announced later.
