Regina King and Idris Elba blow shit up in new trailer for ‘The Harder They Fall’

Today Netflix released the trailer for Jeymes Samuel’s star-studded action western The Harder They Fall, telling a rarely told story of Black outlaws and pioneers in a thirsty tale of revenge.
Synopsis: When outlaw Nat Love (Emmy Award nominee Jonathan Majors) discovers that his enemy Rufus Buck (Emmy Award nominee Idris Elba) is being released from prison he rounds up his gang to track Rufus down and seek revenge. Those riding with him in this assured, righteously new school Western include his former love Mary Fields aka Stagecoach Mary (Zazie Beetz), his right and left hand men — hot-tempered Bill Pickett (Edi Gathegi) and fast drawing Jim Beckwourth (R.J. Cyler)—and a surprising adversary-turned-ally. Rufus Buck has his own fearsome crew, including “Treacherous” Trudy Smith (Academy Award winner Regina King) and Cherokee Bill (Academy Award nominee LaKeith Stanfield), and they are not a group that knows how to lose.
The film also stars Delroy Lindo, Danielle Deadwyler, Damon Wayans Jr. and Deon Cole.
The Harder They Fall is written by Samuel and Boaz Yakin, produced by Samuel, Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter (who also provides music for the film), James Lassiter and Lawrence Bender. It will have its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on October 6 before hitting select theaters in late October and Netflix on November 3.
