Seattle Film Critics Society (SFCS) Goes for Moonlight in a Big Way

Moonlight had one of its biggest awards days from a single critics group today when it won six prizes from the Seattle Film Critics Society. It took Best Picture, Director, Supporting Actor (Mahershala Ali), Screenplay, Editing and Ensemble. This is the 16th Best Picture win from the SAG and Golden Globe-nominated film.

Isabelle Huppert (Elle) picked up her 11th Best Actress win of the season and her film was a shocking runner-up in Best Picture. Casey Affleck, Viola Davis and Mahershala Ali continued to stomp through the season grabbing everything in sight.

Arrival was the second best performer with three awards; Cinematography, Score and Visual Effects as well as runner-up in Actress and Editing.
