St. Louis Film Critics go for ‘Nomadland,’ Carey Mulligan, Chadwick Boseman
The St. Louis Film Critics Association has chosen Nomadland the best film of 2020, also awarding the film best director for Chloé Zhao and best cinematography for Joshua James Richards. Kelly Reichardt’s First Cow and Emerald Fennell’s Promising Young Woman tied for runner-up in best film.
Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman) and Chadwick Boseman (Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom) picked up the lead acting prizes while Paul Raci (Sound of Metal) and Youn Yuh-jung (Minari) took home the supporting honors.
