‘The Simpsons,’ ‘Broad City’ win early Emmy Awards

The Creative Arts Emmys are still two weeks away but juried awards have already been announced including The Simpsons, which picks up outstanding individual achievement in animation, its 33rd Emmy overall, and Broad City, which won for motion design.
Fellow winners in animation were Adventure Time, Hey Arnold!, Jungle Movie, The Number on Great-Grandpa’s Arm, The Scariest Story Ever: A Mickey Mouse Halloween Spooktacular and Steven Universe.
Wasted! The Story of Food Waste joined Broad City for a motion design win.
The juried winners will be presented their awards over the two nights of the untelevised Creative Arts Emmys ceremony, September 8th and 9th. A TV version airs on FX the next weekend.
On Monday it was announced that Neil Patrick Harris, Jane Lynch, Samira Wiley, Carol Burnett, RuPaul Charles and the cast of Fuller House were among its first set of presenters.
The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on Monday, September 17th, 2018 and air live on NBC.
