Full Urbanworld Panel Discussion of Ava DuVernay’s ‘Selma’
This weekend at the Urbanworld Film Festival a select few saw the first clips of highly anticipated film Selma, the first studio film directed by indie impresario Ava DuVernay. Joining her was her star, David Oyelowo, who portrays Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the film. Just about five minutes of the film was shown but it was enough to bring Oyelowo to tears (it was the first time he had seen footage as well) and certainly is giving us even more anticipation for the film than before.
Enjoy the clips, in three parts:
As an extra treat, here’s a new production still featuring Oyelowo:
Selma will be in limited release Christmas Day from Paramount.
