2017 Oscar Predictions: BEST PICTURE (May)
[divider style=”solid” top=”20″ bottom=”20″]
Paramount’s Silence holds onto the #1 spot for the 3rd month in a row and in fact, the top 5 is the same (and in the same order) as last month. The Weinstein Company’s Lion makes another move up, to #6 where it’s tied with A24’s Moonlight (which has its first test screening tonight). Warner Bros.’ Sully and Lionsgate’s La La Land fall a bit while Paramount’s space drama Story of Your Life moves up. The fourth of Paramount’s films on the list, Five Seconds of Silence, gets a name change (to Allied) and Woody Allen’s Café Society (from Amazon Studios and Lionsgate) enters the chart.
