2014 American Music Awards: One Direction Wins Big

One Direction win three AMAs, including Artist of the Year

One Direction continued their domination of the American Music Awards, winning three tonight; Artist of the Year, Favorite Album – Pop/Rock and Favorite Band, Duo or Group – Pop/Rock. Iggy Azalea, who came into the night with the most nominations (6) managed two wins, both in the Rap categories. Katy Perry also won two, for Single of the Year and Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock. She was also revealed to be the halftime performer at the 2015 Superbowl.
