2015 Oscars: The Gold Rush Contest Has Begun!
For the first time, we are holding a pre-precursor contest. Should you choose to play, you will try your hand at predicting the 87th Annual Academy Award nominees…before any precursors have been handed out.
How will this work?
You will predict nominees for the Top 8 categories and only score points if you correctly predict an entire category. These points will be then be applied as a “bonus” to your score in the eventual Academy Awards nominations contest to be held in mid-January. And once again, this is meant to be a fun contest before the “official” start of the season, hence the relatively low point totals.
You must be an AwardsWatch forums member to participate, but that’s the easy part! Just sign up for the forums and enter your predictions here.
Points will be distributed as follows:
Correctly Predict Category – 20 Points
Correctly Predict All Top 8 Categories – 50 Points
Deadline: Sunday (11/30/14) 11:59 PM EST
Any entries submitted OR edited after this deadline will be disqualified.
