Fargo has won the  2016 AwardsWatch Emmy for Program of the Year for the second year in a row, becoming only the second program to do so in the last nine AWEmmys, after Mad Men. Veep, however, walked away with the most wins, four. The Leftovers won Drama Series and The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story dominated the Limited Series acting awards with three of four.

Although FX and HBO dominated here as they have in the past, The CW, FXX, Lifetime, TBS, and USA all took home prizes at their first AWEmmys.

Jane Krakowski (Unbreakable Kimmy Schimdt) took home her third AWEmmy win overall, and became the first actor to win two AWEmmy awards for different programs since Jane Lynch won for both Party Down and Glee.
