Ever wondered what it takes to actually win an Emmy? It’s an intricate process with enough twists and turns to fill in a contender for Outstanding Drama Series.
This year, the Television Academy received over 7800 submission in a whopping 113 categories. In comparison, the Oscars only have 24 categories. All of the academy’s 20,000+ voters get to vote in the top 18 categories that include Drama Series, Comedy Series and Limited Series. Peer groups get to vote on the acting categories and the writing & directing categories. That’s just for starters.
