Although the show isn’t set to air until this evening, the winners of the 2016 MTV Movie Awards have been announced (presumably to court more appearances from said winners, a la The People’s Choice Awards) and if being the biggest movie of all time wasn’t enough Star Wars: The Force Awakens took home three wins, including Movie of the Year. Daisy Ridley, whose birthday is today, won the Breakthrough Performance award.
Deadpool, Pitch Perfect 2 took home a pair of trophies each and Leonardo DiCaprio added an MTV Award to his Oscar win for The Revenant.
