2017 Oscar Predictions: ALL CATEGORIES (January 1)

It’s getting close, only three weeks until Oscar nominations for the 89th Academy Awards are announced. We will have just one more official predictions list, in about two weeks. But this is where the state of the race is on the first day of the new year, before the Golden Globe Awards and before the majority of industry guilds, including the Producers Guild and Directors Guild, announce their nominees. Those guilds can change everything we thought we knew as they sometimes do.

Erik Anderson is the founder/owner and Editor-in-Chief of AwardsWatch and has always loved all things Oscar, having watched the Academy Awards since he was in single digits; making lists, rankings and predictions throughout the show.
