The 2018 Emmys will be full of exciting and competitive races once the nominations are announced on July 12th but none will be more interesting than the potential for Bill Hader and Donald Glover to go head to head in up to FIVE different categories.

Both are assured nominations for Actor in a Comedy Series – Hader for HBO’s Barry and Glover for FX’s Atlanta, where he won last year. Both are also creators and producers of their show so if both are nominated for Comedy Series there’s another face off.

When the Emmy nominating ballots were revealed on Monday, we found that the episodes submitted in directing and writing for both Atlanta and Barry are primed for nominations for both multi-hyphenates. Glover won the directing Emmy last year but lost the writing prize to Aziz Ansari and Lena Waithe for Master of None, which did not air in the eligibility period this season.

Finally, both stars could also battle it out in Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for their hosting duties on Saturday Night Live. Hader has been nominated once for SNL in Guest and twice Supporting Actor. He is an Emmy winner for Animated Series as a producer South Park but has never won for his acting. For Glover, acting as both host and musical guest (as his alter ego Childish Gambino) should give him the upper hand in that category.

So, what do you think? If Glover and Hader go head to head in all of these categories, who comes out on top? Vote below!
