Two of the ceremonies will be in the evening with a third on Sunday afternoon where reality, non-fiction and animation categories will be announced.

The Creative Arts Emmys will return to the Microsoft Theatre at L.A. and will be live this year (all five nights last year were pre-recorded), with a limited audience of nominees and their guests. This year will also return to the Creative Arts Emmys ceremonies being edited into a single telecast to air on Saturday, September 18 at 8PM on FXX, the night before the Primetime Emmys.
