The Boston Online Film Critics Association (BOFCA) has voted and chosen Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees of Inisherin as the best film of 2022, as well as Best Screenplay for McDonagh and a pair of acting wins for Colin Farrell (Best Actor) and Kerry Condon (Supporting Actress).
The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All At Once wasn’t far behind with three: Best Director, Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan) and Best Editing.
Among the group’s top 10 films of year were Aftersun, Best Ensemble winner Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and Best International Film Decision to Leave.
