The San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle (SFBAFCC) has revealed its nominations for the best in film for 2022 and The Banshees of Inisherin leads with 11 mentions, followed by Everything Everywhere All At Once and TÁR with eight apiece. Fellow Best Picture nominees were The Fabelmans (5) and Women Talking (6).
All Best Picture nominees also earned Best Director nominations with the addition of Charlotte Wells for her debut feature Aftersun, which was also nominated for Best Actor (Paul Mescal), Original Screenplay and Best Editing.
Winners will be announced on January 9. Here is the full list of nominations.
