The Costume Designers Guild Awards (CDGA), which honor achievements of excellence in Costume Design in film, television, short form design, and costume illustration, where Conclave, Nosferatu and Wicked topped the feature film wins.
“When challenges arise, we do not stand alone. We stand together. This past year, that solidarity was put into action in ways that truly mattered, as Los Angeles faced devastating wildfires, unions across entertainment didn’t hesitate. The costume designer guild, along with the Teamsters, basic crafts, SAG AFTRA, the DGA, the WGA and so many others, came together to support the victims to remind our community that no one is forgotten in a time of crisis,” said Costume Designers Guild executive director Brigitta Romanov
At the Oscars, the costume design nominees are Conclave, Gladiator II, Maria, Nosferatu and Wicked.
