49th NAACP Image Awards: Girls Trip, Get Out, black-ish and Idris Elba win big

The 49th NAACP Image Awards, handed out over two nights (Sunday and Monday) reveal their winners tonight in Motion Picture and Television and Entertainer of the Year.

Get Out was the big winner of the evening, grabbing Actor in a Motion Picture (Daniel Kaluuya) and Directing and Writing wins for Jordan Peele. But Motion Picture went to the raucous hit Girls Trip, which also won Tiffany Haddish the Supporting Actress prize.  Idris Elba was a double winner, for Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture (Thor: Ragnarok) and Actor in a Television Movie, Limited-Series or Dramatic Special for Guerilla. black-ish was also a multi-winner, which dominated the Comedy categories for television.

Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning director Ava DuVernay was chosen as the Entertainer of the Year winner.

Anthony Anderson (black-ish) hosted the evening and was a winner tonight himself.
