Reginald Hudlin and David Hill are 2016 Oscar Producers

Reginald Hudlin and David Hill will produce the 88th Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Tuesday.
Hudlin produced last year’s Governors Awards for the Academy and was nominated for a Best Picture Oscar in 2013 for producing Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. He served as president of entertainment for BET from 2005 to 2008 and has spent the last ten years primarily directing television such as Psych, Modern Family and New Girl. He began his career in film directing the hits House Party, The Great White Hype and Boomerang. Hill was a longtime Fox executive before stepping down earlier this year to start his own banner, Hilly. It will focus on live TV, reality shows and digital investments and is being backed by Fox.
Hudlin and Hill replace Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, who produced the last three ceremonies. Probably means a lot song and dance numbers this time.
The Oscars will be broadcast live by ABC on Feb. 28th, 2016.
