‘Little Men’ Trailer and Poster: A True Gem of 2016
From writer/director Ira Sachs (Keep the Lights On, Love is Strange) comes the trailer for Little Men, a deeply felt coming of age story that was the hit of Sundance and Berlin film festivals. It introduces us to two new emerging talents in Theo Taplitz and Michael Barbieri and proves Sachs as the current voice in New York City film making.
[box type=”shadow” align=”aligncenter” class=”” width=””]Jake (Theo Taplitz) is a quiet, sensitive middle schooler with dreams of being an artist. He meets the affably brash Tony (Michael Barbieri) at his grandfather’s funeral, and the unlikely pair soon hit it off. The budding friendship is put at risk, however, when a rent dispute between Jake’s father, Brian (Greg Kinnear), and Tony’s mother, Leonor (Paulina Garcia), threatens to become contentious.[/box]
Little Men will be released by Magnolia Pictures (who released Tangerine last year) on August 5th.
