The Las Vegas Film Critics Society has revealed its nominations for the best in film for 2016. La La Land and Moonlight led with 10 nominations apiece yet Damien Chazelle was strangely missing from Best Director. In fact, that category only lined up 2/5 with Best Picture. Only Moonlight and Nocturnal Animals managed to be Picture/Director nominated. The group also loved Hidden Figures and Hell or High Water, both of which scooped up a handful of mentions.
Winners will be announced December 16th.
