Trailer for ‘Mid90s’, Jonah Hill’s nostalgic skater drama directorial debut
A24 has released the first trailer for Mid90s, the directorial debut from two-time Oscar nominee Jonah Hill (Moneyball, The Wolf of Wall Street).
Presented in 4:3 ratio and evoking a Lords of Dogtown meets The Florida Project aesthetic, this nostalgic skater dramedy looks to be right in the wheelhouse for the Oscar-winning studio. It stars pint-sized lead Sunny Suljic (The Killing of a Sacred Deer, the upcoming The House with a Clock in its Walls) as a young boy growing up in Los Angeles in the 1990s who falls in with an older skating crowd.
Jonah Hill wrote and directed the feature, his first, which also stars Lucas Hedges (in one of his three major fall films) and Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald).
Mid90s will be released by A24 on October 19th, 2018. Here is your first look.
