Mahershala Ali goes back in time in teaser for HBO’s ‘True Detective’
Surprise! HBO has dropped the first teaser for the third season of True Detective right in the middle of the final episode of its highly rated Sharp Objects.
The new season, which will debut in January 2019, features Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali (Moonlight) flashing back to the 1970s on a missing kids case.
The new season also features Carmen Ejogo, Stephen Dorff, Ray Fisher, Scoot McNairy and Mamie Gummer.
