Interview: Chigs Parmar, the breakout star of ‘The Great British Baking Show,’ on becoming an overnight sex symbol and what’s next [VIDEO]

They were the glasses that shook the world.
During week 7 of the latest season of The Great British Baking Show, Chigs Parmar became bespectacled and the Internet lost its mind. Already a fan favorite, Parmar won the thirst of viewers across the world.
Parmar brought far more than looks to the table, though, making a run all the way to the finale. His success was made even more impressive by the fact that he only started baking near the start of the pandemic.
Daniel Trainor spoke to Parmar about his new sex symbol status, the process of filming the show, his collection of sneakers and what he has planned next.
