‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ sweeps HCA Midseason Film Awards, Austin Butler named Best Actor

The Daniels Everything Everywhere All at Once has made a clean sweep of the Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) Midseason Awards, nabbing Best Picture, Director and Screenplay for the duo, Best Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress and Indie Film.
The film was nominated for eight awards, winning seven only because it was double-nodded in supporting actress, where Stephanie Hsu won over Jamie Lee Curtis (who was the category’s runner-up anyway). Austin Butler was named Best Actor for hip-shaking turn as Elvis Presley in Elvis and Jordan Peele’s Nope was selected as the most anticipated film for the second half of 2022.
