2022 Chicago Indie Critics (CIC) winners

The Chicago Indie Critics (CIC) have selected their winners for the best in film for 2022. Everything Everywhere All At Once was chosen as the best film with a budget under $25M, also awarding the multiverse family drama best director, actress, supporting actor, original screenplay and editing.
Glass Onion and Avatar: The Way of Water were double winners and RRR was named best studio film (for budgets over $25M), best song and best stunts.

Best Animated Film: Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio
Best Documentary: Fire of Love
Best Foreign Language Film: Decision to Leave
Best Ensemble: Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery
Best Cinematography: Top Gun: Maverick
Best Editing: Everything Everywhere All at Once
Best Production Design: Avatar: The Way of Water
Best Costume Design: The Woman King

Best Original Score: Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio
