Austin Film Critics Association (AFCA) Nominations: ‘One Battle After Another,’ ‘Sinners’ Lead with 11

One Battle After Another and Sinners lead the pack with nominations in 11 categories from the Austin Film Critics Association (AFCA), including Best Director, Best Picture, Best Score, Best Editing, Best Screenplay (adapted and original respectively), Best Cinematography, and a host of acting categories.
Other films racking up multiple nominations include Marty Supreme (8), Sentimental Value (5), Weapons (4), and The Secret Agent (4).
In the Best First Film category, the nominations are Andrew DeYoung (Friendship), Carson Lund (Eephus), Charlie Polinger, (The Plague), Kristen Stewart, (The Chronology of Water), and Eva Victor (Sorry, Baby).
