Black Film Critics Circle Awards Moonlight Best Film, Director; Fences Wins Actor, Supporting Actress

The Black Film Critics Circle have chosen Moonlight as the Best Film of 2016 as well as Director, Supporting Actor (Mahershala Ali), Original Screenplay and Cinematography. Fences won big too with four awards – Best Actor (Denzel Washington), Supporting Actress (Viola Davis), Adapted Screenplay and Ensemble. Ruth Negga won Best Actress for Loving.

Among his many achieved goals with AwardsWatch, he has given a platform to underrepresented writers and critics and supplied them with access to film festivals and the industry and calls the Bay Area his home where he lives with his husband and son.
