20th Century Fox must be feeling pretty good about its Freddie Mercury biopic starring Rami Malek because the film’s poster dropped today along with a first look clip with the actual trailer coming tomorrow. Fox originally had a holiday release planned for the film (as they did with their blockbuster musical The Greatest Showman last year) but moved it up to November 2 last month.
Promising ” the music you know” but “the story you don’t,” the clip (at a scant 20 seconds) obscures Malek from the front as much as possible until a brief couple shot of Queen’s performance at Live Aid.
