Boston Society of Film Critics (BSFC): 'Little Women' is Best Pic, Saoirse Ronan wins Best Actress

LITTLE WOMEN (Sony)

It was a good day for Greta Gerwig’s Little Women and Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood as they were the big winners from the Boston Society of Film Critics (BSFC). Little Women was named Best Picture, Best Actress for Saoirse Ronan, Best Ensemble and Best Score. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood picked up Best Supporting Actor for Brad Pitt and Best Screenplay.

Adam Sandler (Uncut Gems) won his second Best Actor prize of the day (St. Louis gave it to him as well), although the group initially tweeted out a mixed message winner announcement: Adam Sandler, Marriage Story accompanied by an Adam Driver gif. They corrected themselves soon after.

Laura Dern won Supporting Actress for Marriage Story and Joe Talbot picked up the Best New Filmmaker award for The Last Black Man in San Francisco.
