After multiple test screenings and name changes (first it was Chef, then Adam Jones) The Weinstein Company is ready to release Burnt, the chef drama starring three-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper (Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, American Sniper). Cooper plays rockstar chef Adam Jones who has a meteoric rise and an equally precipitous falling star drop after being consumed by drugs and bad boy behavior. Now he wants redemption as he returns to London to open “the best restaurant in the world.”
Here’s the trailer:
The film is directed by John Wells (August: Osage County) and also stars Emma Thompson, Sienna Miller, Daniel Brühl, Lily James, Omar Sy, Uma Thurman and girl of the moment, Alicia Vikander. It opens October 23rd.
