Boyhood notches another Best Picture win, this time with the Chicago Film Critics Association. The group also awarded the film their Best Director and Best Supporting Actress prizes for Richard Linklater and Patricia Arquette, respectively.
Birdman walked away with a pair of wins, for actor Michael Keaton and in a tie for cinematography with The Grand Budapest Hotel. That film also grabbed two wins, for the cinematography tie and for original screenplay. Julianne Moore won Best Actress for Still Alice and J.K. Simmons took Supporting Actor for Whiplash.
Life Itself, the film about legendary Chicago film critic Roger Ebert, expectedly won the Documentary award.
