The musical biopic of rock band queen and its frontman Freddie Mercury, Bohemian Rhapsody, the death defying documentary Free Solo and the stop-motion Isle of Dogs were the big winners from last night’s 55th Cinema Audio Society awards, the guild which honors the best in sound mixing for film, animation and television.

This win gives Bohemian Rhapsody another edge in the Sound Mixing Oscar race and the win for Isle of Dogs was a bit of an upset over heavy favorite Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which has been the guild and industry champ this season.

TV winners included The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace, Mozart in the Jungle and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.

Honorary awards were given to Steven Spielberg (Filmmaker Award), foley mixer Mary Jo Lang (President’s Award), and sound mixer Lee Orloff (Career Achievement Award).
