The 17th Costume Designers Guild nominations have chosen Birdman, The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 among the best dressed of 2014. The group, which separates costumes into three categories (Contemporary, Period and Fantasy) revealed their nominations this morning via Twitter. Among a few surprises were a mention for Boyhood and Interstellar showing up in Contemporary rather than Fantasy. Some surprise misses were Mr. Turner and Unbroken in Period Film and Foxcatcher in Contemporary Film.
The winners will be announced on February 17th.
