Critics Societies Roundup 5

If you have been following these posts for the past two weeks, you will have noticed that 12 Years A Slave is cleaning up quite a bit at these second-tier critics awards. And today is no different, as we see it take the top prize in both Florida and Las Vegas, with the only outlier being Austin, which picked Spike Jonze’s Her.
No real surprises today, other than perhaps Brie Larson’s win in Austin. If only she had a bigger studio behind her, the Short Term 12 star might have had a shot at a nomination.
