From director Peter Berg (Lone Survivor, Friday Night Lights) comes the first poster and trailer for Deepwater Horizon, his take on the worst oil spill in U.S. history that took the lives of 11 men April 20, 2010. This story honors the brave men and women whose heroism would save many on board, and change everyone’s lives forever.
The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Dylan O’Brien, Kurt Russell, Kate Hudson, Gina Rodriguez and John Malkovich. It was written by Matthew Michael Carnahan and Matthew Sand. Distributed by Lionsgate, the film is a Summit Entertainment and Participant Media presentation of a di Bonaventura Pictures and Closest to the Hole / Leverage Entertainment production.
Deepwater Horizon hits theaters September 30th.
