Detroit Film Critics Society (DFCS) Nominations: Edge of Seventeen Lands Best Pic Nod

The Detroit Film Critics Society announced their nominations for 2016.  Winners will be announced on Monday, December 19th.

The teen coming of age comedy/drama The Edge of Seventeen scored a Best Picture nomination as well as a nomination for its writer/director Kelly Fremon Craig but strangely snubbed the film’s lead, Golden Globe nominee Hailee Steinfeld (in a field of six, no less).

Winners will be announced on Monday, December 19th.
