Philadelphia Film Critics Circle (PFCC) Winners: ‘One Battle After Another,’ ‘Sinners’ Fight It Out

The Philadelphia Film Critics Circle (PFCC) has selected One Battle After Another as the best film of 2025.
In what essentially amounted to a back and forth between One Battle After Another and Sinners, fully nine categories saw one film as the winner and the other as the runner-up. In the end, both films took home five wins.
Similarly, nearly all critics groups have awarded either Jessie Buckley (Hamnet) or Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You) in Best Actress; Philadelphia has gone with Buckley with Byrne as their runner-up.
