Directors Guild of America (DGA) Nominations for TV: Jodie Foster Nodded Twice

Jodie Foster, double nominated for House of Cards and Orange is the New Black by the Directors Guild of America

The Directors Guild of America nominations for television, commercials and documentary feature films were revealed today by DGA president Paris Barclay. They include two nominations for Jodie Foster (in Drama Series for House of Cards and Comedy Series for Orange is the New Black), marking her first and second nomination from the Directors Guild. Homeland‘s comeback season netted two directing nominations in the Drama category and Jill Soloway follows up her Golden Globe win for Best Comedy Series (Transparent) with a DGA nom for the same series.

Winners will be announced Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles at a ceremony hosted by Jane Lynch.
