The Emmy-winning British hit Downton Abbey will be headed to your movie screens this fall and today released the first of four character posters for the upcoming feature film, including Lady Mary Crawley and Thomas Barrow.

Downton Abbey followed the lives of the Crawley family and the servants who worked for them at the turn of the 20th century in an Edwardian English country house. Over its 6 seasons, the series garnered 3 Golden Globe Awards, 15 Primetime Emmy Awards, 69 Emmy nominations in total, making Downton Abbey the most nominated non-US television show in the history of the Emmys.

Starring series regulars Michelle Dockery, Maggie Smith, Joanne Froggatt, Brendan Coyle, Jim Carter, Robert James-Collier and Hugh Bonneville, the film welcomes Academy Award, BAFTA and Emmy-nominated actress Imelda Staunton as Lady Bagshaw. It was written by Academy Award winner Julian Fellowes and directed by Michael Engler.

Focus Features will release Downton Abbey on September 20, 2019.
