You might notice we’ve been kind of pimping out this movie a lot recently, and we have. The film, starring four-time Academy Award nominee Julianne Moore and Kristen Stewart, features Moore as a Columbia University professor who develops early on-set Alzheimer’s at age 50. It’s a harrowing tale and filled with outstanding performances that were raved at its TIFF debut. Made by Christine Vachon’s indie label Killer Films (Far From Heaven, Boys Don’t Cry), it is currently without distribution and we’re hoping that doesn’t last long.
Here’s the clip. It’s brief (only 37 seconds) but powerful in its simplicity and subtlety.
