First look at Timothée Chalamet and Steve Carell in ‘Beautiful Boy’
Fresh off his first Oscar nomination at 22-years of age for Call Me By Your Name, Timothée Chalamet and Oscar nominee Steve Carell (Foxcatcher) give you the first look of their new film Beautiful Boy from Amazon Studios.
Carell and Chalamet play father and son David and Nic Sheff in this story of Nic’s methamphetamine drug addiction based on David’s memoir of the same name and Nic’s Tweak. The film is a highly buzzed awards hopeful with both Chalamet and Carell factoring in this year’s Oscar race (check out the current rankings here).
The film was directed by the helmer of the Foreign Language Film Oscar nominee The Broken Circle Breakdown and co-stars Maura Tierney, Kaitlyn Dever, Amy Ryan and Timothy Hutton.
Beautiful Boy will be released by Amazon Studios on October 12th.
