First Look: The POSE-A-THON special featuring the cast of ‘Pose’ singing Billy Porter’s “Love Yourself”

The benefit special will air Friday, June 26 at 10pm EST / 7pm PST simultaneously on FX and Freeform

Dominique Jackson, Indya Moore, Angelica Ross, Angel Bismark Curiel, Pose creators and executive producers Steven Canals and Janet Mock join the rest of the cast of Pose in an epic sing-a-long, a one-hour commercial free virtual event in partnership with GLSEN, Hetrick-Martin Institute, and Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund.

The event will be emceed by Emmy, Grammy, and Tony-award winning actor and activist Billy Porter along with co-star Mj Rodriguez, and will bring together the voices of POSE for stories, songs, and support of LGBTQ+ education, social change for sexual and gender minority people of color, and transgender equality through legal services and policy efforts.

The performance of “Love Yourself” features: Steven Canals (Creator, Executive Producer), Janet Mock (Executive Producer) Billy Porter (“Pray Tell”) , Mj Rodriguez (“Blanca”), Angel Bismark Curiel (“Lil Papi”), Sandra Bernhard (“Nurse Judy Kubrak”), Dyllón Burnside (“Ricky”), Dominique Jackson (“Elektra”), Jeremy McClain (“Cubby”), Indya Moore (“Angel”), Jason Rodriguez (“Lemar”), Angelica Ross (“Candy”), Hailie Sahar (“Lulu”), Ryan Jamal Swain (“Damon”), Charlayne Woodard (“Helena St. Rogers”) and Patti LuPone (“Frederica Norman“).

The POSE-A-THON special to air simultaneously on FX and Freeform on Friday, June 26 at 10pm ET/PT with online viewing available at http://www.poseathon.com/ starting 10pm ET/7pm PT. The special will also stream on FX on Hulu.
