First trailer and poster for ‘The Zookeeper’s Wife’ starring Jessica Chastain
After a quick teaser yesterday, Focus Features has released the first full trailer for The Zookeeper’s Wife, starring Jessica Chastain and Daniel Brühl. Set against the backdrop of the rise of Nazi’s invading Poland in 1939, The Zookeeper’s Wife is a real-life story about one woman, Antonina Żabińska, (Chastain) and her husband, Dr. Jan Żabiński (Johan Heldenbergh from The Broken Circle Breakdown). who saved hundreds during World War II. The film is based on the international best-seller of the same name by Diane Ackerman and is directed by Niki Caro (Whale Rider, North Country).
Focus Features will release The Zookeeper’s Wife next Spring – March 31st, 2017.
