First trippy teaser for ‘The Killing of a Sacred Deer’ with Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman

The first trailer for The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, Yorgos Lanthimos’ follow-up to his Oscar-nominated film The Lobster is here and it’s creepy and trippy, but would you expect anything less?

As one of the film’s stars, Raffey Cassidy, sings Ellie Goulding’s “Burn,” we see bits and pieces of surgeon Colin Farrell and his wife, playing by Nicole Kidman, finding more and more sinister goings on happening after they adopt a teenager.

The film won the Screenplay prize at the Cannes Film Festival this year (tying with Lynne Ramsey’s You Were Never Really There) and will also show at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.

A24 will release The Killing of a Sacred Deer on November 3rd. Here is the teaser.
