Get a head start on Ricki and the Flash with two full tracks from Meryl Streep
Sony Pictures‘ Ricki and the Flash isn’t out until next week but here’s a pair of full songs you’ll be hearing three-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep belt out in the film. Streep plays a musician who gave up everything for her dream of rock-and-roll stardom who returns home, looking to make things right with her family.
Written by Academy Award winner Diablo Cody (Juno) and directed by Academy Award winner Jonathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs) and co-stars Rick Springfield, Mamie Gummer (Streep’s daughter), Tony winner Audra McDonald and Oscar winner Kevin Kline (A Fish Called Wanda).
The movie opens in 1,800 screens on August 7th.
