The new round of Gold Rush Gang Oscar predictions is up with some changes from last month, an increased strength for Foxcatcher after its success at Cannes and some films and performances dropping off the radar. Don’t forget to check the Gold Rush Gang charts to see who’s voting for whom and align yourself with the best of the best. And make your own voice heard in the forum polls, too!

Interstellar

Birdman (Fox Searchlight) – 10
Foxcatcher (Sony Pictures Classics) – 10
Inherent Vice  (Warner Brothers)– 10

Gone Girl (20th Century Fox) – 9
A Most Violent Year (A24) – 7

The Grand Budapest Hotel (Fox Searchlight) – 4

Birdman, Foxcatcher, Inherent Vice and Interstellar hold strong with full support of the Gold Rush Gang for May. Matt L. finally adds Unbroken to his list, giving the Angelina Jolie film 10 votes as well. Get On Up and Fury disappear from the Top 10 to make room for The Grand Budapest Hotel and Wild, while A Most Violent Year and Gone Girl inch up.

BEST DIRECTOR

Alejandro Gonzàlex Iñárritu, Birdman10
Paul Thomas Anderson, Inherent Vice9
Bennett Miller, Foxcatcher9
Tim Burton, Big Eyes7
Angelina Jolie, Unbroken7

Iñárritu still manages the only 10 vote choice but Burton, PTA and Miller gain one more vote. Angelina Jolie makes the biggest play, grabbing two more votes to land in the top 5 on her own (as Fincher drops out).

Jack O’Connell, Unbroken

BEST ACTOR

Steve Carell, Foxcatcher10
Michael Keaton, Birdman10
Christoph Waltz, Big Eyes10
Joaquin Phoenix, Inherent Vice9
Jack O’Connell, Unbroken7

Carell and Keaton remain in the top slots, while Waltz loses a vote and Phoenix gains one. Chadwick Boseman falls off the list, as does Benedict Cumberbatch, to make room for O’Connell, who added three votes.

Meryl Streep, Into the Woods

BEST ACTRESS

Amy Adams, Big Eyes10
Rosamund Pike, Gone Girl10
Meryl Streep, Into the Woods10
Reese Witherspoon, Wild10

Best Actress is getting quite solid, with Streep now at 10 votes, making it the only category with just one name lacking complete support. Michelle Williams loses one and drops to 6 and her future in the top 5 is starting to look precarious.
